Employee cost codes table  

In cases where employees are charged out at higher or lower hourly rates than the normal shop cost, the employee rates should be set up here.

  1. At the EMMS main menu, select Administration | Tables --> | Administration Tables | Maintenance | Labor Cost Codes | Employee Cost Basis.
    • The Employee Cost Basis change screen appears.
  2. Click Add .
    • The Employee Cost Basis add screen appears.
  3. Fill in the fieldsfields as required.

    Employee is the employee for whom the cost code applies. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the employee from a list.

    Cost Code is the cost code to which the rate applies for the selected employee. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the cost code from a list. Note that this can be modified at the individual work order line level.

    Effective Date is the date the labor cost rates goes into effect for the specified employee.

    Hourly Rate is the amount charged for each hour of labor for the specified cost code and employee, to 4 decimal places.

  4. Click Enter to save the rates.
  5. Click Exit to return to the menu.
