Activity cost codes table  

This table allows you to maintain activity cost codes to be used in cases where activities are charged out at different rates from the shop costs.

  1. At the EMMS main menu, select Administration | Tables --> | Administration Tables | Maintenance | Labor Cost Codes | Activity Cost Basis.
    • The Operation Code Cost Basis change screen appears.
  2. Click Add .
    • The Operation Code Cost Basis add screen appears.
  3. Fill in the fieldsfields as required.

    System is the equipment component system for which the rate applies. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the system code from a list.

    Part is the part for which the rate applies. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the part from a list.

    Task is the task for which the rate applies. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the task from a list.

    Cost Code is the cost code for which the rate applies. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the cost code from a list.

    Effective Date is the date the rate goes into effect for the activity for the specified cost code.

    Hourly Rate is the amount charged for each hour of labor for the specified cost code and task, to 4 decimal places.

  4. Click Enter to save the rates.
  5. Click Exit to return to the menu.
