Customer classes table  

Customers are classified into generic types for various reasons: reporting, budgeting, labor and parts costing, etc. Pricing can be set up at the customer class level to apply to all customers in the class.

  1. At the EMMS main menu, select Administration | Tables --> | Administration Tables | Customer | Customer Classes.
    • The Edit Customer Classes change screen appears.
  2. Click Add .
    • The Edit Customer Classes add screen appears.
  3. Fill in the fieldsfields as required.

    Customer Class Code is a 6-character code identifying a particular type of customer, e.g. INT for internal, CLASS1 for long haul.

    Customer Class Description is a brief description of the customer class.

  4. Click Enter to save the customer classes.
  5. Click Exit to return to the menu.
