Expiry Date is the date the price book will end. It is optional.

  6. Click Change to return to the Edit Customer Class Price Book change screen.
  7. Right-click on the price book's effective date and select Base Rate.
    • The Edit Customer Class Base Rate change screen appears.
    • Columns for Stepped Rates, Activity Rates, Item Rates, Category Rates, Pay Types, and PI Definition will display Yes if those rates exist.
  8. Fill in the fieldsfields as required.

Cost Type identifies whether the pricing is for labor, materials, environmental charges, supplies, sublet labor, or sublet material. Each cost type must appear at least once on a customer class's base rates. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the cost type from a list.

Customer Class Rate is the rate to be charged for the specified cost type, to 3 decimal places. If the rate will be stepped, this field must be left blank.

Discount % is a percentage discount offered, if applicable.

Discount Amount is a flat-rate discount offered, if applicable.

Facility is a specific facility where the rate applies. It is optional. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the facility from a list. When you add a new cost type line with an equipment type and facility, Enrich will ensure that the combination of cost type, equipment type, and facility is unique. Note that the hierarchy that will be used on work orders and work order estimates is:

    1. equipment type & facility
    2. super equipment type and facility
    3. equipment type
    4. super equipment type
    5. facility
    6. both blank

Maximum Amount is a maximum amount to be charged, if applicable. When the maximum amount is being applied and there are multiple sublet lines with a mix of labor/material, any necessary reduction of an amount is applied by cost type, so the sublet labor invoice lines will be reduced first, then sublet material.

Minimum Amount is a minimum amount to be charged, if applicable.

Rate Type identifies what type of rate should be used. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the rate type from a list. Valid values are:

    • fixed - a dollar amount regardless of the actual costs.
    • margin - a margin is applied: invoice amount = cost / (1 - rate).
    • markup - a markup is applied: invoice amount = cost * rate;
    • per hour - a rate per labor hour.
    • percent of labor.
    • flow through - invoice amount is the same as the cost amount.
    • markup PO price - markup the part based on PO price instead of the average cost. The cost from the PO directly linked to the work order will be marked up. If the part is not linked to a work order, the last purchase cost for the item at the warehouse will be used. If this value is not found or is zero, the average cost from the associated requisition line will be marked up.

Super/Equip Type is a specific equipment or super equipment type that the rate will be applied to. It is optional. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the type from a list.

  9. Click Enter to save the base rates.
  10. If required, enter stepped rates, item rates, activity rates, category rates, manufacturer rates, and pay type rates for any of the cost types; turn the PI definition on or off for material cost types; and enter miscellaneous charges for the price book.
