Customer class pay type rates  

  1. At the EMMS main menu, select Administration | Tables --> | Administration Tables | Customer | Customer Classes.
    • The Edit Customer Classes change screen appears.
  2. Right-click on the customer class and select Change Price Book.
    • The Edit Customer Class Price Book change screen appears.
  3. Right-click on the effective date of the price book and select Base Rate.
    • The Edit Customer Class Base Rate change screen appears.
  4. Right-click on the cost type and select Pay Types.
    • The Customer Class Pay Type Rates change screen appears.
  5. Click Add .
    • The Customer Class Pay Type Rates add screen appears.
  6. Fill in the fieldsfields as required.

    Pay Type is the type of pay to which the rate will apply, e.g. regular time, overtime, etc. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the pay type from a list.

    Rate Type is the type of rate to be charged, e.g. hourly. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the rate type from a list.

    Rate is the rate to be charged for the specified pay and rate type, to 2 decimal places.

    Discount Percent is a discount percentage offered, if applicable.

    Discount Amount is a flat-rate discount offered, if applicable.

  7. Click Enter to save the pay type rates.
  8. Click Exit three times to return to the menu.
