Enrich EMMS Online Help
To define the sale price for each product if you have the Fuel Billing module installed, you can define either a specific sale price or an amount over cost or a percentage over cost. Cost may be an average cost as calculated by the inventory section of EMMS or a specific cost entered into the fueling tables, depending on how your system administrator has defined the appropriate business parameters.
The price fields can be overridden at the facility, customer class, customer, contract type/customer, or unit level. The sequence of the price look-up is unit, contract/customer, customer, customer class, facility, then global; the first matching entry is used. If no pricing is specified for an item, it is assumed to be at cost.
Item Number is the fuel product that the pricing applies to. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the item from a list.
Effective Date is the date the pricing for the item went into effect.
Pricing Sale Price is the price per unit, to 4 decimal places, for which the fuel product will be sold. Only one of sale price, $ over cost, or % over cost can be defined for a product.
Pricing $ Over Cost is the amount, to 4 decimal places, that will be added to the cost of the product to calculate the price at which the product will be sold. Only one of sale price, $ over cost, or % over cost can be defined for a product.
Pricing % Over Cost is the percentage that will be added to the fuel product's cost to calculate the price at which it will be sold. Only one of sale price, $ over cost, or % over cost can be defined for a product.
You can now enter facility, customer class, customer, contract/customer, and/or unit override pricing if required.
