Record billing readings from preload - step 1

The first step in recording billing readings from preload is to generate the billing readings input report.

1. At the Asset Management main menu, select Customer | Billing | Billing Reading Input Report. The Distance Billings Input Report enter screen appears.
2. Fill in the fields as required.

   Billing Frequencyidentifies whether to report on quarterly, monthly, 28-day, weekly, or all billing frequencies. You can click on the Prompt button to select the frequency from a list.

   Unit Numberis a specific unit to report on. Leave blank for all. You can click on the Prompt button to select the unit from a list.

   Responsible/Charge Facis a specific assigned facility to report on. Leave blank for all. You can click on the Prompt button to select the facility from a list.

   Customeris a specific customer to report on. Leave blank for all. You can click on the Prompt button to select the customer from a list.

   Contract Typeis a specific type of contract to report on. Leave blank for all. You can click on the Prompt button to select the contract type from a list.

   Page Break on Customerflags whether or not the report will start a new page for each customer if multiple customers are being reported.

   Fax Reportsidentifies whether or not the report should be faxed to the customer(s). This will only appear if faxing is installed on your system.

   Double Spaceidentifies whether or not the report should print double-spaced. If set to Yes, it would provide more room to write in the readings.

3. Click Enter . The Confirm prompt appears.
4. Click Enter . The Distance Billing Reading report (LRU4PFK) will print on your default printer.
   • The report printout will contain a Job Number, which is required as input to Step 2.
   • Each unit listed will have a space to enter the appropriate meter readings.
5. The report can now be sent to the customer(s) to fill in the readings.
6. When the report is returned with the readings, you can continue to Step 2.
