Equipment group PM skills  

You can define skill requirements for a program activity that apply only to a specific equipment group.

  1. At the EMMS main menu, select Maintenance | Preventive Maintenance | Programs.
    • The Work With Programs display screen appears.
  2. Right-click on the program and select Activities.
    • The Display Program Activities screen appears.
  3. Right-click on the activity and select Equipment Standards.
    • The Activity Equipment Group Standards display screen appears.
  4. Right-click on the equipment group for which you wish to add skills and select Skills.
    • The Edit Activity/Equipment Group Skills display screen appears.
  5. Click Show All/Selected to view all defined skills.
  6. Click in the Standard Hours field for a skill you want to add and type in the number of hours required for a person with this skill to perform the selected activity on the specified equipment group.
  7. Right-click on the skill and select Select.
    • An asterisk will appear to the left of the skill to show it has been selected.
  8. Repeat steps 6-7 for each skill to be added.
  9. Click Enter to save the skills.
  10. Click Exit to return to the Activity Equipment Group Standards display screen.
