Enrich EMMS Online Help

Parts defined for a package

When the work order is created, the parts on this list will automatically be pulled onto the work order. The only time this cannot occur is when the work order line has been made a sublet or when the part cannot be found in the warehouse of the work order. If a part cannot be found in the work order warehouse, Enrich will try to add the part to the work order as miscellaneous. On the work order, you can change any of the parts to one that will be direct purchased; the "Unknown" part number is allowed as well.

  1. At the EMMS main menu, select Retail Maintenance | Tables --> | Retail Maintenance Tables | Packages.
    • The Work With Packages display screen appears.
  2. Right-click on the package and select Change.
    • The Package Details change screen appears.
  3. Click Parts .
    • The Maintain Package Parts change screen appears.
  4. Click Add .
    • The Maintain Package Parts add screen appears.
  5. Fill in the fieldsfields as required.

Part is the part that is included in the package. Any valid part in the item master can be included in the package, excluding the "Unknown" part number and sublet parts. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the part from a list.

As well, you can type anything you want in this field and it will be used as a placeholder. In the example of an oil change, an oil filter will be used, but depending on the type of equipment, the part number will vary. In that case, you can enter "Oil Filter" here and Enrich will flag that as a miscellaneous part; it will have to be replaced with a real part or a direct purchase part before you are able to issue the parts on the work order.

NOTE: Miscellaneous parts cannot be issued as part of a package.

Description is a brief description of the part.

Quantity identifies how many of the part are included in the package.

  6. Click Enter to save the parts.
  7. Click Exit to return to the Package Details change screen.
