Units of measure (UOM) table  

Items are measured in numerous ways: liquids could be in liters, milliliters, gallons, pints; time could be in days, hours, months; wrenches could be individual (each) or boxes. All of the units you will use must be defined here.

  1. At the EMMS main menu, select Administration | Tables --> | Administration Tables | Material | Item Reference | Units of Measure.
    • The Display Units of Measure screen appears.
  2. Click Change .
    • The Edit Unit of Measure change screen appears.
  3. Click Add .
    • The Edit Unit of Measure add screen appears.
  4. Fill in the fieldsfields as required.

    Unit of Measure is a 3-character code identifying how something is measured, e.g. LBS for pounds.

    Description is the name of the unit of measure.

  5. Click Enter to save the units of measure.
  6. Click Exit to return to the menu.
