Sub-classifications table  

Equipment classifications can be broken down into more detailed areas.

1. At the EMMS main menu, select Administration | Tables --> | Administration Tables | Equipment | Sub-classifications.
   • The Display Sub-Classifications screen appears.
2. Click Change .
   • The Edit Sub-Classifications change screen appears.
3. Click Add .
   • The Edit Sub-Classifications add screen appears.
4. Fill in the fieldsfields as required.

   Class is the equipment classification that the sub-class belongs to. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the classification from a list.

   Sub-class is a 6-character code identifying a more specific breakdown of an equipment class, e.g. DIESEL to identify the fuel type within an engine classification.

   Sub-class Description is a brief description of the sub-classification.

5. Click Enter to save the sub-classifications.
6. Click Exit twice to return to the menu.
