Consignment POs

A consignment purchase order is one that was created for a consignment warehouse. The items on it are only paid for when used; the invoice will actually be an initial consignment setup, which should not be paid. You pay later replenishment invoices, with separate POs. It is possible to close a setup consignment PO without entering an invoice.

To create a consignment PO, create a regular PO but select a consignment warehouse.
