Change taxes for a PO line item  

1. At the EMMS main menu, select Material | Purchasing and Receiving | Purchase Orders.
   • The Work With Purchase Orders display screen appears.
2. Right-click on the order and select Change.
   • The Order Entry change screen appears.
3. Click Enter .
   • The Order Line Entry change screen appears.
4. Right-click on the line item and select Taxes.
   • The Edit Line Taxes screen appears.
5. Change any fieldfield values as required.

   GST Category is the category identifying the percentage of federal tax applied to the item. You can click on the Prompt button to select the category from a list.

   GST Included identifies whether or not the federal tax is included in the item's price.

   GST Exempt identifies whether or not the item is exempt from federal tax.

   PST Exempt identifies whether or not the item is exempt from provincial or state tax.

6. Click Enter to save the changes.
