Work with cores  

1. At the EMMS main menu, select Material | Item Administration | Work With Cores.
   • The Work With Cores display screen appears, listing all parts that have been defined as core parts in the item master.
2. To subset the list of cores:
   • Click Subset .
     • The Item Master Subset screen appears.
3. To view item details about a core:
   • Right-click on the core and select Display Core.
     • The Item Master Information display screen appears for the part.
4. To view item details about a core's parent:
   • Right-click on the core and select Display Parent.
     • If only one parent exists for the core, the Item Master Display screen appears for that part.
     • If multiple parents exist:
       1. The Select Parent for Core screen appears, listing all parents for the core.
       2. Right-click on the parent you wish to view and select Select.
          • The Item Master Display screen appears for that part.
