Create an establishment position  

Before an employee can be created in Enrich, an establishment position must exist for him or her. Only one employee can have a particular establishment position at any one time. If the establishment position you want to use already exists, move on to Attach a standard shift; otherwise, continue.

  1. At the Enrich main menu, select ETK | Payroll | Establishment Positions.
    • The Establishment Positions display screen appears.
  2. Click Add .
    • The Establishment Position add key screen appears.
  3. Type in the new Establishment Code - a unique code identifying a particular position within the company, e.g. MECH12.
  4. Click Enter .
    • The Establishment Position add screen appears.
  5. Fill in the fieldsfields as required.

    Establishment Description is the name of the establishment position, e.g. Mechanic 12.

    Supervisor Status flags whether or not the position has supervisory functions.

    Temporary Position flags whether the position is a temporary relief position rather than a regular position.

    Indirect Code should be left blank for a regular establishment position. This affects the compensation type stored on a timekeeping record when an employee works in this temporary establishment position; for example, a mechanic relieving the foreman on holiday might be compensated more than when doing his/her regular duties. You can click on the Prompt  button to select the code from a list.

    Supervisor Establishment identifies which position this one reports to. You can click on the Prompt button to select the supervisor's position from a list.

    Facility identifies the facility the position is for. You can click on the Prompt button to select the facility from a list.

    Shop identifies the shop or department this position is for. You can click on the Prompt button to select the shop from a list.

    Union Affiliation Code identifies which union the position belongs to. You can click on the Prompt button to select the union from a list.

    Job Classification Code is a generic category that the position falls into. You can click on the Prompt button to select the job classification from a list.

  6. Click Enter to save the establishment position.
  7. Continue on to Attach a standard shift.
