Set up a PM calendar for a unit

When a PM calendar exists for a unit, it overrides anything else when calculating the next due date for the unit. A calendar will not be allowed unless there is a time interval (days/months) on the PM that is NOT once only.

  1. At the EMMS main menu, select Maintenance | Preventive Maintenance | Programs. The Work With Programs display screen appears.
  2. Right-click on the program and select Equipment. The Display Included Equipment Groups screen appears.
  3. Click View by Unit vehicles.jpg. The Units Included on PM display screen appears.
  4. Click Change change.jpg. The Units Included on PM display change screen appears.
  5. Click Calendar calendar2.jpg. The Maintain PM/Unit Calendar change screen appears.
  6. To add calendar dates:
    1. Click Add plus.jpg. The Maintain PM/Unit Calendar add screen appears.
    2. Type in the Due Date for each date you wish to add.
    3. Click Enter enter.jpg to save the calendar entries.
  7. To create multiple calendar dates at once:
    1. Click Generate Multiple Entries addmult.jpg. The Generate PM/Unit Calendar Entries screen appears.
    2. Fill in the fields as required.
    3. Click Enter enter.jpg to generate the calendar entries. You return to the Maintain PM/Unit Calendar change screen, where the new entries will appear.
