Transfer an insurance policy

1. At the Asset Management main menu, select Insurance | Insurance Policies. The Insurance Policies display screen appears.
2. Right-click on the policy to be transferred and select Transfer. The Transfer Insurance Policy enter screen appears.
3. Fill in the fields as required.

   Insurance Companyis the insurance company the policy is being transferred to, if applicable. You can click on the Prompt button to select the insurance company from a list.

   Policy Numberis the policy number the policy is being transferred to. You can click on the Prompt button to select the policy from a list.

   Date Added to Policyis the date the transfer is effective. You can click on the calendar button to select the date.

   Cancel Old Policyidentifies whether or not the old policy should be cancelled. If Yes, a Cancellation Date must be entered.

   Cancellation Dateis the effective date of the old policy's cancellation, if applicable. You can click on the calendar button to select the date.

4. Click Enter . The policy will be transferred.
