Copy an insurance policy

1. At the Asset Management main menu, select Insurance | Insurance Policies. The Insurance Policies display screen appears.
2. Right-click on the policy you wish to copy and select Copy. The Copy Insurance Policy enter screen appears.
3. Fill in the fields as required.

   Insurance Companyis the company providing the new policy. You can click on the Prompt button to select the insurance company from a list.

   Policy Numberis the insurance company's number for the new policy.

   Copy Units to New Policyidentifies whether or not active units on the copied policy should be copied to the new policy's schedule of units. This should be set to Yes for an ongoing policy.

   Add Units As Of Dateis the date the copied units will be identified as having been added to the new policy's schedule of units. You can click on the calendar button to select the date.

   Cancel Old Policyidentifies whether or not the policy being copied should be cancelled. This should be set to Yes for an ongoing policy.

   Cancellation Dateis the date the copied policy will be cancelled, if required. You can click on the calendar button to select the date.

4. Click Enter . You return to the Insurance Policies display screen where the new policy will be listed.
