Area of operations

When a rental contract is created, the insurance policy will be checked to ensure the areas of operation on the contract are also on the policy. If either the rental contract area of operations or the policy area of operations is blank, there will be no error. If both the contract area of operation and the policy area of operation are populated, the edit will be performed.

This option allows you to work with the area of operations covered by an insurance policy.

  1. At the Asset Management main menu, select Insurance | Insurance Policies. The Insurance Policies display screen appears.
  2. Right-click on the policy and select Change Header. The Edit Insurance Policy change screen appears.
  3. Click Area of Ops area.jpg. The Insurance Policy Area of Operations change screen appears.
  4. Click Add plus.jpg. The Insurance Policy Area of Operations add screen appears.
  5. Select each province and/or state covered by the insurance policy.
  6. Click Enter enter.jpg to save the areas of operation for the insurance policy.
