Guaranteed buy back for pre-selected equipment

1. At the Asset Management main menu, select Disposal | Work With Pre-Selected Equipment List. The Pre-Selected Equipment List display screen appears.
2. Right-click on the unit and select GBB. The Guaranteed Buy Back display screen appears.
3. Click Change . The Guaranteed Buy Back change screen appears.
4. Change any field values as required.

   Guaranteed Buy Back Typeidentifies whether the guaranteed buy back is closed or open. Note that if it is set to Open and the Used Equipment business parameter controlling Types of Customer Sales Allowed is set to 4=NonGBB-Cash, GBB Account, the bill of sale can be raised against a retail customer or an account customer representing the OEM; i.e. both fields will be available for input on the Create Bill of Sale enter screen.

   Guaranteed Buy Back Dateis the date the guaranteed buy back goes into effect.

   Maximum- the top field identifies the metric and the bottom field is the maximum value at which the buy back can be used. You can click on the Prompt button to select the metric from a list.

   UOMis the unit of measure for the Maximum value. You can click on the Prompt button to select the unit of measure from a list.

   Buy Back Valueis the contracted residual amount/buy back for the unit.

5. Click Enter to save the changes.
