Pricing overrides for a package

Note that there are no discounts at this level. The assumption is that a discount should always come from one of the specific levels of the hierarchy and not from the definition. If a price is found, it will be used along with any discount that may have been carried from another level of the hierarchy. If no price is ultimately found, the package will be put onto the work order invoice at a zero price. In practice, a price should never fall back to this level since, at a minimum, pricing should be defined at the shop level.

Selling Price is the selling price of the package for the specified manufacturer, manufacturer/model, or equipment type. If no price is found at any of the equipment, customer, customer class, or shop levels, Enrich will fall back to the price defined at the package level itself. Before taking the package definition price, Enrich will look here for overrides.

Only the selling price can be overridden. These overrides exist in an "or" relationship and are applied in the order: manufacturer/model OR manufacturer OR equipment type.

Mfg is the equipment manufacturer that the override applies to. At least one of Mfg, Model, or Equipment Type is required for a selling price, and equipment type cannot be entered along with manufacturer or manufacturer/model. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the manufacturer from a list.

Model is the equipment model that the override applies to. This can only be entered in conjunction with manufacturer. At least one of Mfg, Model, or Equipment Type is required for a selling price, and equipment type cannot be entered along with manufacturer or manufacturer/model. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the model from a list.

Equipment Type is the equipment type that the override applies to. At least one of Mfg, Model, or Equipment Type is required for a selling price, and equipment type cannot be entered along with manufacturer or manufacturer/model. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the equipment type from a list.

  6. Click Enter to save the override pricing.
  7. Click Exit to return to the Package Details change screen.
