Warranty claim reason types table  

The warranty claim screen allows you to enter three different types of reasons on comment lines. This table is used to identify these reason comment types.

1. At the EMMS main menu, select Administration | Tables --> | Administration Tables | Maintenance | Warranty | Warranty Claim Reason Types.
   • The Warranty Claim Reason Types change screen appears.
2. Click Add .
   • The Warranty Claim Reason Types add screen appears.
3. Fill in the fieldsfields as required.

   Claim Reason Type is a 6-character code identifying a warranty comment reason type.

   Description is a brief description of the warranty comment reason type.

   Comment Type is the type of comment that will be used for the specified reason type. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the comment type from a list.

   Comment Required flags whether the comment is mandatory, mandatory if billable, or optional. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the flag from a list.

4. Click Enter to save the reason types.
5. Click Exit to return to the menu.
