Facility/shop tax exemptions  

This table allows you to set up and maintain tax exemptions for a shop/facility.

1. At the EMMS main menu, select Administration | Tables --> | Administration Tables | Location | Facility | Facilities.
   • The Display Facility screen appears.
2. Right-click on the facility and select Tax.
   • The Facility Tax Rates display screen appears.
3. Click Shop Tax Exemptions .
   • The Facility Tax Exemptions display screen appears.
4. Click Change .
   • The Facility Tax Exemptions change screen appears.
5. Click Add .
   • The Facility Tax Exemptions add screen appears.
6. Fill in the fieldsfields as required.

   Tax Code is the tax being exempted. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the tax from a list.

   Cost Type is the type of cost for which the tax is exempt, e.g. environmental charges. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the cost type from a list.

   Exempt flags whether or not the facility is exempt. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the flag from a list.

7. Click Enter to save the exemptions.
