Facility insurance business parameters  

Facility insurance business parameters are used with the Risk Management module within Event Manager.

1. At the EMMS main menu, select Administration | Tables --> | Administration Tables | Location | Facility | Facilities.
   • The Display Facility screen appears.
2. Right-click on the facility and select Insurance Bus Parms.
   • The Facility Insurance Bus Parms change screen appears.
3. Fill in the fieldsfields as required.

   Service Manager identifies the service manager at this facility. You can click on the Prompt  button to select the service manager from a list.

   Claims Handler identifies the insurance claims handler at this facility. You can click on the Prompt button to select the claims handler from a list.

   Rental Manager identifies the rental manager at this facility. You can click on the Prompt button to select the rental manager from a list.

   Location Excess is the amount of damage costs for which the facility is responsible (which includes any CPDR for the customer). For example, if the customer's CPDR is 500, the facility's location excess is 2000, and the damage cost to a vehicle is 3000, then the customer is billed for 500, the facility is charged for 1500, and the remaining 1000 is drawn from the insurance reserve.

4. Click Enter to save the parameters.
5. Click Exit to return to the Display Facility screen.
