Add a shop  

Shops can be defined for types of work performed within the physical location facilities, e.g. internal, external, sublet. They can also be defined for areas within the physical locations that are separated from other areas for accounting reasons, e.g. wash bay, trailer bay, tractor bay. At least one shop should be set up for a facility; if you don't wish to separate the shops within the facility, use MAIN or SHOP as the shop code.

1. At the EMMS main menu, select Administration | Tables --> | Administration Tables | Location | Facility | Shops.
   • The Display Shops screen appears.
2. Click Change .
   • The Edit Shops change screen appears.
3. Click Add .
   • The Edit Shops add screen appears.
4. Fill in the fieldsfields as required.

   Facility is the facility in which the shop is located. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the facility from a list.

   Shop is a code that uniquely identifies a particular shop or department in the facility.

   Description is the name or a description of the shop.

5. Click Enter to save the new shop(s).
6. Click Exit twice to return to the menu.
