User-defined statuses table  

This table allows you to create and maintain user-defined statuses for equipment units. Statuses defined here will have rules identifying the functions that are allowed for a unit with that status.

  1. At the EMMS main menu, select Administration | Tables --> | Administration Tables | Equipment | User Defined Statuses.
    • The User Defined Equipment Statuses change screen appears.
  2. Click Add .
    • The User Defined Equipment Statuses add screen appears.
  3. Fill in the fieldsfields as required.

    Status is a status to be applied to equipment units that will determine the functions that can be performed for the unit.

    Description is a description of the status.

  4. Click Enter to save the statuses.
  5. Click Change to return to the User Defined Equipment Statuses change screen.
  6. Right-click on a new status and select Status Rules.
    • The User Defined Status Rules change screen appears.
  7. To allow an action for the status, click on the action's Action Allowed box to place a checkmark in it.
  8. To disallow an action for the status, click on the action's Action Allowed box to remove the checkmark.
  9. Click Enter to save the rules.
