Permit jurisdiction defaults table  

The permit jurisdiction defaults table contains a list of all the different state and provincial permits that you require. The table maintains the effective date, expiration date, and cost of the permit.

  1. At the EMMS main menu, select Administration | Tables --> | Administration Tables | Equipment | Permit Jurisdiction Defaults.
    • The Permit Jurisdiction Defaults change screen appears.
  2. Click Add .
    • The Permit Jurisdiction Defaults add screen appears.
  3. Fill in the fieldsfields as required.

    Permit Type is the specific type of permit or license to set up. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the permit type from a list.

    Province/State is the province or state that requires the permit. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the province or state from a list.

    Description is a brief description of the permit type in the specified location.

    Cost is the cost of the permit as you want it to appear on future permits, to 2 decimal places.

    Permit Number is the number on the permit that was issued by the state or province, as you want it to appear on future permits. It is optional.

    Effective Date is the date the permit goes into effect, as you want it to appear on future permits.

    Expiry Date is the date the permit will expire, as you want it to appear on future permits.

  4. Click Enter to save the information.
  5. Click Exit to return to the menu.
