Major codes table  

Major codes are usually a combination of functional area (e.g. administration) and product line (e.g. linehaul). These are usually identified and set up in conjunction with your accounting department.

If Enrich Financials is installed, this table will not be accessible here.

  1. At the EMMS main menu, select Administration | Tables --> | Administration Tables | Accounting | Charge of Accounts | Major Codes.
    • The Display Major screen appears.
  2. Click Change .
    • The Edit Major add screen appears.
  3. Fill in the fieldsfields as required.

    Major is the number identifying a functional area and product line.

    Description is a description of the major code.

  4. Click Enter to save the new majors.
  5. Click Exit to return to the menu.
