Slow moving inventory by warehouse report

The estimated usage calculation is Annual Usage / (365 / # of days), e.g. 100 / (365 / 90) = 24.655. If the current quantity on hand for an item is less than this calculated usage, it will not print on the report.

  1. At the EMMS main menu, select Administration | Reports | Material | Slow Moving Inventory by Warehouse.
    • The Slow Moving Inventory Report enter screen appears.
  2. Fill in the fieldsfields as required.

    # of Issues to Check is related to the previous option. It allows a zero value so that you can find any other warehouse even if the part has only been issued once in the 'for issues in past' number of days.

Check Other Warehouses identifies whether or not the system should check other warehouse inventories to see if the slow moving part has been issued and, if so, list those warehouses on the report. This will allow you to move inventory from the slow moving warehouse to one that is actively using the part.

Days Without Movement is the number of days that items included on the report will not have had any activity.

For Issues in Past is the number of days to look back in other warehouses. This allows you to use a different number of days than what you have specified for the days without movement.

Print identifies the type of transaction to report on. You can click on the Prompt button to select the transaction type from a list. When set to Last Transaction, the report will show the last item utilization transaction that occurred for the part, regardless of the type. When set to Last Issue, the report will show the last issue transaction. If the part has never been issued, the date will show as zero, with no transaction type description.

Warehouse is a specific warehouse to report on. Leave blank for all. You can click on the Prompt button to select the warehouse from a list.

  3. Click Enter .
    • The Slow Moving Inventory report (F4B8PFK) will print on your default printer.
