Create transfer out  

  1. At the EMMS main menu, select Material | Item Administration | Transfer Request | Transfer Out.
    • The Work With Transfer Out display screen appears.
  2. Click Add .
    • The Create Transfer Request screen appears.
  3. Type in or select the Receiving Warehouse.
  4. Click Enter .
    • The Transfer Out add screen appears.
  5. Fill in the fieldsfields as required.

    Bin is the bin in the originating warehouse from which the part was transferred. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the bin from a list. When prompting, bin locations that exist for the specific item are shown.

    Date Sent is the date the transfer was sent.

    Default Bin flags whether the location is the primary location for the part. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the flag from a list.

    Item Number is the item that was transferred. A part cannot be transferred if it is frozen for issues or on an open count. In addition, the system will not allow a part to be added to the transfer unless it has a cost in the sending warehouse. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the part from a list. If the part is serialized, the Transfer Serial #s screen will appear when you click Enter; you will have to enter or select the correct number of serial numbers.

    Quantity Sent is the number of units of the part that were transferred. Enrich checks the quantity on hand. If it is not sufficient, a warning message is displayed. If the item is frozen, the part cannot be sent. If the item is on an active physical count, a warning message is displayed.

    Row is the row in the originating warehouse from which the part was transferred. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the row from a list. When prompting, row locations that exist for the specific item are shown.

    Shelf is the shelf in the originating warehouse from which the part was transferred. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the shelf from a list. When prompting, shelf locations that exist for the specific item are shown.

  6. Click Enter to save the transfer.
