Create immediate transfer  

1. At the EMMS main menu, select Material | Item Administration | Transfer Request | Immediate Transfer Request.
   • The Work With Immediate Transfers display screen appears.
2. Click Add .
   • The Create Transfer Request screen appears.
3. Type in or select the Receiving Warehouse.
4. Click Enter .
   • The Enter Immediate Transfer change screen appears.
5. Fill in the fieldsfields as required.

   Date Sent is the date the parts were sent from the sending warehouse.

   Default Bin flags whether or not the transfer-to location should become the new primary location for the part. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the flag from a list.

   From Bin is the bin in the originating warehouse from which the part was transferred. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the bin from a list.

   From Row is the row in the originating warehouse from which the part was transferred. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the row from a list.

   From Shelf is the shelf in the originating warehouse from which the item was transferred. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the shelf from a list.

   Item Number is the item being transferred. You cannot transfer a miscellaneous part. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the item from a list. Note: If the part is serialized, the Transfer Serial #s screen will appear when you click Enter; you will have to enter the correct number of serial numbers to match the number of parts being transferred.

   Quantity Sent is the number of units of the part that were transferred. Enrich checks the quantity on hand. If it is not sufficient, a warning message is displayed. If the item is frozen, the part cannot be sent. If the item is on an active physical count, a warning message is displayed.

   Receiving Warehouse is the warehouse to which the items were sent. You can click on the Prompt button to select the warehouse from a list.

   To Bin is the bin in the receiving warehouse to which the part was transferred. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the bin from a list. When prompting, bin locations that exist for the specific item are shown. Click Full Location List to view all bin locations at the warehouse.

   To Row is the row in the receiving warehouse to which the part was transferred. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the row from a list. When prompting, row locations that exist for the specific item are shown. Click Full Location List to view all row locations at the warehouse.

   To Shelf is the shelf in the receiving warehouse to which the part was transferred. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the shelf from a list. When prompting, shelf locations that exist for the specific item are shown. Click Full Location List to view all shelf locations at the warehouse.

6. Click Enter to save the transfer information.
