Add a PM for a unit  

By default, the unit will inherit the preventive maintenance programs that the equipment group has been attached to; only additional PMs need to be added at the unit level. Audit records are created any time a unit is assigned to a PM or unassigned from a PM.

  1. At the EMMS main menu, click on the Equipment button.
    • The Display Equipment screen appears.
  2. Right-click on the unit and select Change.
    • The Edit Equipment change screen appears.
  3. Click Unit PM's .
    • The PMs for Unit display screen appears.
  4. Click All/Select to view all programs.
  5. Right-click on the PM to be added and select Select.
    • An asterisk will appear in front of the program name to show it has been selected.
    • An audit record will be created for the unit with a source of PM/Unit Assigned.
  6. Click Exit twice to return to the menu.
