Equipment group fluids  

Fluids are defined for an equipment group and used by the fuel island functions. If this feature is going to be used, it is important to keep in mind that the fluids cannot be overridden at the unit level. Fluids that are necessary for all units in the group must be defined here.

  1. At the EMMS main menu, select Equipment | Equipment Groups.
    • The Display Equipment Group screen appears.
  2. Right-click on the group and select Actions.
    • The Equipment Group Actions screen appears.
  3. Click Fluids.
    • The Display Equipment Group Fluids screen appears.
  4. Click Change .
    • The Edit Equipment Group Fluids change screen appears.
  5. Click Add .
    • The Edit Equipment Group Fluids add screen appears.
  6. Fill in the fieldsfields as required.

    Fluid Code is a fluid used in the equipment units of the group, e.g. FUELD1 for diesel fuel number 1. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the fluid from a list.

    Standard Volume is the maximum amount of the fluid that can be held by the units in the equipment group.

    UOM Code is the unit of measure used to measure the fluid, e.g. GAL for gallons. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the unit of measure from a list.

  7. Click Enter to save the fluids.
  8. Click Exit three times to return to the Display Equipment Group screen.
