Active rental facility consolidation  

This feature allows you to consolidate active rental facilities when facilities are consolidating or closing.

1. At the EMMS main menu, select Administration | Utilities | Active Rental Facility Consolidation.
   • The Active Rental Facility Consolidation enter screen appears.
2. Fill in the fieldsfields as required.

   From Facility is the facility being consolidated. You can click on the Prompt  button to select the facility from a list.

   To Facility is the facility being consolidated to. You can click on the Prompt button to select the facility from a list.

   Report Only identifies whether to run the report only, or to run the report and perform the consolidation.

3. Click Enter .
   • For all active rental agreements where the Out or Return or Responsible facility matches the From Facility entered, that facility will be changed to the To Facility entered.
   • For each unit that has the facilities changed on an active rental agreement, if the business parameter Physical Location Tracking = Y and the most recent record in the Equipment Rental Location file for the unit is the From Facility, the system will create a new record for the To facility.
   • Note: The unit/facility assignment must be changed manually for future rental agreements to use the correct unit facility.
