Cost Basis business parameters  

The cost basis business parameter screen identifies the order that Enrich should search through costing routines for internal costs. Typically, the search routine is set up to search for employee-based costs first, followed by activity and, finally, department costs.

1. At the EMMS main menu, select Administration | Business Parameters.
   • The Business Parameters display screen appears.
2. Right-click on Cost Basis and select Change.
   • The Business Cost Basis change screen appears.
3. Click Add .
   • The Business Cost Basis add screen appears.
4. Fill in the fieldsfields as required.

   Cost Basis Type is a generic type of cost, e.g. employee cost. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the cost basis type from a list.

   Sequence Number is a sequential number identifying the order in which the cost basis type should be used.

5. Click Enter to save the cost basis types.
   • They disappear from the Add screen.
6. Click Exit three times to return to the menu.
