Enrich EMMS Online Help
For the most part, printing using Enrich Cloud Print (ECP) is identical to using any other printer set up on Enrich. Documents are submitted for printing the same way as always. If the document is not marked as “Hold”, then the system does its work and the printed document will appear on the printer shortly.
The main difference between traditional iSeries printing and ECP is seen when a document is marked as “Hold”. Previously, one would run the “WRKSPLF” command to preview and release printer documents. Unfortunately, there are many limitations to that system, the most notable being that Premium Forms documents could not be previewed.
To view the documents held in ECP queues, do the following:
1. Visit the ECP Queues page at https://company.enrich.ca/xxxecp/ (where 'company' and 'xxx' are provided by your system administrator). Log in with your Enrich username and password.
2. A view with all available printed documents in your queue is shown:
3. To preview a specific document, click the red PDF document icon in the Preview column. A new browser tab will open, and the document will be shown.
4. To release a document which is currently held (or hold a document which is not currently held), click the checkbox in the Hold column. To release multiple documents at the same time, select all desired documents (either by clicking the check boxes at the left of the screen, or using shift + click), and select the “Hold” batch operation at the top of the screen.
5. Likewise, to mark a document as saved/not saved, click the checkbox in the Save column (same procedure for batch operations).
6. To change the number of copies to be printed, select one or more documents and select the “Copies” batch operation (the copy count can be set to a value from 1 through 9).
7. To change the duplexing options, select one or more documents and select the “Duplex” batch operation.
8. To move the document to another queue (e.g. from QPRINT to an actual printer queue), select one or more documents and select the “Move” batch operation.
9. To delete a document without printing it, select one or more documents and click the Delete icon. The documents will be removed from the print queue without being printed.
10. To refresh the queue and see any newly added documents, click the Refresh icon at the top left of the screen.
11. The Download Client option allows users to download the ECP Client program for connecting an ECP output queue with a local printer. More information on this is presented elsewhere.
12. Once finished, to log out of the system click the “Logout” button at the top right.
