PM audit tracking
The following functions will create PM audit records:
- The night job (CALL FNNIXFK ' '). This will trigger everything that is ready to trigger and should create an audit record for each unit/PM. Audits are created for:
- a PM based on days
- a one-time PM
- a PM that has a pattern
- a PM triggered due to a metric interval
- a PM triggered because it is a sub (child program) of a parent program that has triggered
- a PM triggered because it slid to another PM
- a PM triggered that uses patterns
- a PM triggered due to a rate-per-day causing a metric trigger
- Work roster refresh. The work roster refresh will create "delete" audit records for each PM/unit that was removed.
- Work roster edit. The deletion of an individual PM roster entry will create a "delete" audit record.
- Deletion of work order line. Deletion of a work order line that has a PM and choosing the option to delete the roster entry will create a PM audit record. Choosing the option to reset the roster will not write an audit record.
- Edit of PM history. Updating history will create a tracking record.
- Completion of PMs on work orders. Completing a PM by closing a work order line will create an audit record showing the completion date.
- Triggering PM due to entry of a meter reading. Creating a work order and entering a reading that causes the trigger creates an audit record. The audit will have the meter reading as the current value. This will help if you enter an incorrect reading
on the work order that causes the trigger and you then fix the reading. The audit record will show the reading at the time of triggering.
- Used equipment triggering disposal PM. If a PM program has been entered in the parameter PM Code for Pre-sale Inspection on the Used Equipment business parameters and you go to Work With Pending Disposals in Asset Management, you can select the PM
option against a unit on the disposal list. That forces the PM from the business parameter to be triggered against that unit, and that creates an audit record.
- Forcing PMs to a work order. The forced triggering of all types of PMs directly to work orders creates audit records.
- Unit renumbering. Renumbering a unit that has PM tracking audit history will carry that history correctly over to the new unit number.
- Changing unit serial and/or group. Changing a unit's serial number will also change the serial number and/or group in the audit file.
- Re-opening a work order line that had a closed PM. Re-opening a work order line creates another Change audit record showing that the line had been re-opened and the PM was re-opened.
- PM closed by assignment of sublet. With the PM business parameter for closing a PM on a sublet set to time of assignment, assigning a PM line on a work order to a sublet creates a Change audit record showing the completion date of the PM.
