Customer terms overrides  

The payment terms for a customer in Enrich EMMS can be overridden for other modules. For example, if the customer is required to pay for work within 30 days, you could override that for lease payments and required that they pay within 15 days.

  1. At the EMMS main menu, click the Customer button.
    • The Work With Customers display screen appears.
  2. Right-click on the customer and select Edit Customer.
    • The Edit Customer change screen appears.
  3. Click Terms Override .
    • The Edit Customer Terms Overrides change screen appears.
  4. Click Add .
    • The Edit Customer Terms Overrides add screen appears.
  5. Fill in the fieldsfields as required.

    Application identifies the software program or module or function (e.g. rental agreement or work order or manual charges) that the terms override and/or PO required flag applies to, i.e. Asset Management, Lease Rental. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the application from a list.

    PO Required flags whether or not a purchase order will be required for the customer in this module or function, e.g. rental agreement or work order or manual charges. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the flag from a list.

    This checking is also done on Premium Forms. When printing or reprinting, if the PO is required and the invoice's billing date is not covered by the PO, the print will be sent to the PO Exception printer IF set up in the Premium Forms business parameters.

    • If the customer PO flag = N, then the system will not drill down at the application level.
    • If the customer PO flag = Y and the application PO Required flag = Y, then a PO is required.
    • If the customer PO flag = Y and the application PO Required flag = N, then NO PO is required.
    • If the customer PO flag = Y and the application PO Required flag is not found, then a PO is required.

    Terms identifies what terms will be used on transactions in the application for this customer. You can right-click in the field and select Prompt to select the terms from a list.

  6. Click Enter to save the overrides.
  7. Click Exit to return to the Edit Customer change screen.
