Warranty instructions for a work order line

  1. At the EMMS main menu, click the Work Orders button. The Work Orders display screen appears.
  2. Right-click on the work order and select Change. The Edit Work Order change screen appears.
  3. Right-click on the activity line and select Warranty Instructions. The Warranty Instructions screen appears.
  4. To add new instructions:
    1. Type the instructions on the first blank line.
    2. Click Enter enter.jpg to save the instructions.
  5. To change existing instructions:
    1. Type over the existing instructions.
    2. Click Enter enter.jpg to save the changes.
  6. To work with links to documents containing warranty instructions/information:
    1. Click Document Links history.jpg. The Warranty Document Links display screen appears.
    2. Click Change change.jpg. The Warranty Document Links change screen appears.
    3. Click Add plus.jpg. The Warranty Document Links add screen appears.
    4. Fill in the Document Description for each document to be added.
    5. Click Enter enter.jpg to save the additions.
    6. Click Change change.jpg to return to the Warranty Document Links change screen.
    7. To change the root directory that will be used for all warranty documents:
      1. Click Document Root link.jpg. The Warranty Document Link Root screen appears.
      2. Type in the path where the warranty documents will be found.
      3. Click Enter enter.jpg to save the root.
