Unissue parts

Note that you cannot unissue a part on a closed work order line and you cannot unissue a returned part.

1. At the EMMS main menu, click the Work Orders button. The Work Orders display screen appears.
2. Right-click on the work order and select Change. The Edit Work Order change screen appears.
3. Click on the Parts button. The Edit Work Order Parts change screen appears.
4. Right-click on the part and select Unissue. The Unissue Work Order Line Part screen appears.
5. Click Fully Unissue Parts. You return to the Edit Work Order Parts change screen where the part will have a status of U.
   • A reversing inventory transaction is created using the same accounting as the original entry.
   • The return to stock is automatic, and is made to the same warehouse and row/shelf/bin as the original.
   • For serialized parts, whichever serial numbers were used in the original entry are used in the reversing entry.
