Change unit's out of service (OOS) status
If the work order is multi-unit, memo, over-the-counter, warranty, or
for miscellaneous units, this option will not work. You will receive an
appropriate error message.
- At the EMMS main menu, click the Work
Orders button. The Work
Orders display screen appears.
- Right-click on the work order and select Change.
The Edit Work Order
change screen appears.
- Click Unit OOS. The Equipment In/Out of Service window
appears, identifying the unit's current status.
- Click the Yes radio button
for Enter Comments for Out of Service if comments are required.
- If the unit is currently in service, click Place
Out of Service or Leave
in Service, as desired.
- If the unit is currently out of service, click Return
to Service or Leave Out
of Service, as desired.
- The Confirm prompt appears.
- Click Confirm. If comments
were requested, the Enter Comments
change screen appears.
- Type in your comments.
- Click Enter
to save the comments.
- Click Exit
to continue.
- The unit's status will be changed as required and you return to
the Edit Work Order change
screen.
