Change unit's out of service (OOS) status

If the work order is multi-unit, memo, over-the-counter, warranty, or for miscellaneous units, this option will not work. You will receive an appropriate error message.

  1. At the EMMS main menu, click the Work Orders button. The Work Orders display screen appears.
  2. Right-click on the work order and select Change. The Edit Work Order change screen appears.
  3. Click Unit OOS. The Equipment In/Out of Service window appears, identifying the unit's current status.
  4. Click the Yes radio button for Enter Comments for Out of Service if comments are required.
  5. The Confirm prompt appears.
  6. Click Confirm. If comments were requested, the Enter Comments change screen appears.
    1. Type in your comments.
    2. Click Enter enter.jpg to save the comments.
    3. Click Exit exit.jpg to continue.
  7. The unit's status will be changed as required and you return to the Edit Work Order change screen.
