Add parts to a work order

  1. At the EMMS main menu, click the Work Orders button. The Work Orders display screen appears.
  2. Right-click on the work order and select Change. The Edit Work Order change screen appears.
  3. Click on the Parts button. The Edit Work Order Parts change screen appears.
  4. Fill in the fields as required.
  5. If you need more than one part for an activity, click on the activity line you want to add parts to and click Add plus.jpg. An additional line will appear.
  6. Repeat steps 4-5 as needed.
  7. Click Enter enter.jpg to save the parts. The system automatically creates requisitions that can be handled via the Parts Desk functions.
  8. To charge out the parts, click the Fully Issue Parts button. The part status will change to F.
  9. Click Exit exit.jpg to return to the Edit Work Order change screen.
