Add parts to a work order
- At the EMMS main menu, click the Work
Orders button. The Work
Orders display screen appears.
- Right-click on the work order and select Change.
The Edit Work Order
change screen appears.
- Click on the Parts
button. The Edit Work Order Parts
change screen appears.
- Fill in the fields as required.
- If you need more than one part for an activity, click on the activity
line you want to add parts to and click Add
. An additional line will appear.
- Repeat steps 4-5 as needed.
- Click Enter
to save the parts. The system automatically creates
requisitions that can be handled via the Parts Desk functions.
- To charge out the parts, click the Fully
Issue Parts button. The part status will change to F.
- Click Exit
to return to the Edit
Work Order change screen.
