Parts lookup

This option provides an easy method of making corrections or additions to the parts lookup upload file without having to go through the whole process of an upload. It should be tightly secured to only a few select users.

  1. At the EMMS main menu, select Material | Item Administration | Work With Parts Lookup. The Work With Parts Lookup change screen appears.
  2. To delete a part from the lookup:
  3. To add a part to the lookup:
    1. Click Add plus.jpg. The Work With Parts Lookup add screen appears.
    2. Fill in the fields as required.
    3. Click Enter enter.jpg. The Maintain Features enter screen appears; see step 4 below. Note: The Maintain Features enter screen will appear for each part you have added.
  4. To work with the equipment features that are required on a vehicle that uses the specified part:
    1. Right-click on the part and select Features. The Maintain Features enter screen appears.
    2. Fill in the fields as required.
    3. Click Enter enter.jpg to save the features.
