Item equivalence
Over time, items will change because the manufacturer stops making one
part and replaces it with another, or the manufacturer goes out of business
and a replacement item must be found. You may wish to keep track of the
previously used items (equivalent items) and/or keep a list of equivalent
items that could be used in the future if necessary.
- At the EMMS main menu, click on the Inventory
Items button. The Inventory
for Warehouse display screen appears.
- Right-click on the item for which you wish to set up equivalents
and select Action List.

appears.
- Click Item Equivalence.
The Item Equivalence
display screen appears.
- Click Change
. The Item Equivalence
change screen appears.
- Click Add
.
The Item Equivalence
add screen appears.
- Fill in the fields as required.
- Click Enter
to save the equivalents.
- Click Exit
four times to return to the menu.
