Add a kit

Kits are groupings of items that are frequently used together. Ordering a kit on a work order or purchase order reduces data entry requirements: one item, the kit, must be keyed in to obtain every component of that kit.

  1. At the EMMS main menu, select Material | Item Administration | Kits. The Work With Kits display screen appears.
  2. Click Add plus.jpg. The Maintain Kits enter screen appears.
  3. Type in a unique Kit Number for the new kit.
  4. Click Add plus.jpg. The Maintain Kit Header Information change screen appears.
  5. Fill in the fields as required.
  6. Click Enter enter.jpg. The Maintain a Kit add screen appears.
  7. Fill in the fields as required.
  8. Click Enter enter.jpg to save the kit.
