Delete a warranty claim
A warranty claim may be deleted as long as it has no collections.
If the claim is in Posted status and the accounting generated has already
been processed, reversal entries are created. If the accounting entries
have not yet been processed, they are just deleted. Any reference to the
claim from the work order or work order line is removed.
- At the EMMS main menu, select Maintenance
| Warranties | Warranty Claims. The Warranty
Claims by Claim # display screen appears.
- Right-click on the claim and select Change.
The Warranty Claim
change screen appears.
- Click Delete
. The Confirm Delete
of Claim screen appears.
- If you don't have delete access, the message "DENIED -
User AAAAAA does not have access to program F7DQPVK" will
appear at the bottom of the screen.
- Click Delete. The
claim will be deleted.
