Copy a warranty claim

1. At the EMMS main menu, select Maintenance | Warranties | Warranty Claims. The Warranty Claims by Claim # display screen appears.
2. Right-click on the claim to be copied and select Copy. The Copy A Claim screen appears.
3. Fill in the fields as required.

   Referencing WO #is the work order that the claim is being made for. The work order number referenced may be changed so an identical claim will be made on a separate work order. You can click on the Prompt button to select the work order from a list.

   Lineis the line on the work order that the claim is being made for. It is optional.

   Reverseidentifies whether or not the values should be reversed in the new claim. If set to Yes, the values that are reversed are the warranty cost claimed and the labor hours claimed.

4. Click Enter . A new claim is created with the next available claim number. All information, including comments, is copied to the new claim. The new claim is left In Progress to allow for changes to the amount prior to posting.
