Change a work order estimate

1. At the EMMS main menu, select Maintenance | Work Order Estimating. The Work With WO Estimates display screen appears.
2. Right-click on the estimate and select Change. The Edit WO Estimate change screen appears.
3. Change any values as required.
4. To insert a line in the estimate:
   1. Right-click on the line you wish to insert before and select Insert Line. The Insert a Line screen appears.
   2. Fill in the fields as required.

      Chargeis the flat rate charge for the item. It is optional. This charge overrides the customer price book.

      Componentis the component that work will be performed on. You can click on the Prompt button to select the component from a list. Only one of Component/Task or Part should be entered on a line.

      Descriptionis a description of the task or part. It is filled in automatically.

      Hour/Quantityis the number of hours that will be required to perform the task, or the quantity of the part required.

      Partis a part required for the work order. You can click on the Prompt button to select the part from a list. Only one of Component/Task or Part should be entered on a line.

      Taskis the task that will be performed on the component. You can click on the Prompt button to select the task from a list. Only one of Component/Task or Part should be entered on a line.

   3. Click Enter . You return to the Edit WO Estimate change screen where the new line will appear.
5. Click Enter to save the changes.
