Request a fuel interface upload

1. At the EMMS main menu, select Maintenance | Fuel Island | Request Interface Upload. The Request Interface enter screen appears.
2. Fill in the fields as required.

   Interface IDis the name of the fueling interface. You can click on the Prompt button to select the interface from a list.

   Input File Name/Libraryis the name of the file and the library where the interface file is located.

   Service Provideris the company providing the fueling information. You can click on the Prompt button to select the service provider from a list.

3. Click Enter . The screen will be updated with the interface information and the Confirm prompt appears.
4. Click Confirm.
   • If the data is error free and the Auto Post 0 Err field on the interface setup has been set to Yes, the defined information transactions are posted: metrics to EMMS; as directed to Fuel Billing, if available; as directed to memo work orders. The Fuel Billing postings will be in the Fuel Billing module in a Processed status.
   • If the data has errors and/or the Auto Post 0 Err field on the interface setup has been set to No, the transactions will be placed into an intermediate file that can be viewed through the Work With Interface Batches menu option.
