Enter a tank reading

The tank reading is an inventory measurement at the fuel island level -- a stick reading. Enrich keeps track of the date and time of all tickets, fuel drops, and measurements. This allows a variance report to be run later.

1. At the EMMS main menu, select Maintenance | Fuel Island | Work With Fuel Tickets (Facility). The Fuel Tickets display screen appears.
2. Click Tank Readings . The Enter Reading screen appears.
3. Fill in the fields as required.

   Dateis the date the stick reading was taken. It defaults to the current date but can be changed.

   Timeis the time of day the stick reading was taken. It defaults to the current time but can be changed.

   Tank #identifies which fuel tank the stick reading was taken on.

   Readingis the volume remaining in the tank. This figure is usually obtained by taking the stick reading and looking at the tank's calibration table.

4. Click Enter to save the reading.
